News at Ten and Girls at King's |
 On Tuesday 2nd September 2008, the Head Master of King’s College School Andrew Halls announced the governors’ proposal to take girls into the Sixth Form from 2010. Present at the announcement was Sir Trevor McDonald, a governor of the school, former KCS parent and a passionate exponent of a co-educational sixth form. Also present was Julie Etchingham, Sir Trevor's News at Ten co-presenter, who was at the school to give a talk to the boys about her experiences as a woman in the male world of broadcasting. |

Stephen Hammond, Conservative MP for Wimbledon, visited the school on Friday 3rd October. He addressed the Sixth Form in the Collyer Hall.
