Extra-curricular music groups

We run a busy and varied programme of extra-curricular music groups to give all boys the opportunity to enjoy making music together and to develop the valuable skills of discipline, commitment and teamwork.

Rehearsals take place either before school, at lunchtime or after school, and are directed by music department staff or by our specialist visiting music teachers. Our ensembles perform regularly in school concerts and other events.

If boys are interested in joining any of these ensembles they should come along to a rehearsal and speak to the teacher in charge. For the selective ensembles, they should talk to the ensemble director or to Miss Owen.
