Until 2008 projects to develop the campus had been funded largely from borrowing, leaving the school in an unsustainable position of debt. Since that time the school has been reorganised and refocused, and this has enabled us to bring the school to a healthy financial position and given us the ability to push forward with confidence.
Unlike some of our peer schools, King’s has no form of endowment, meaning that we are entirely reliant on income from fees. Through careful and prudent management of our resources, we are now well advanced with a number of projects that have so far been funded entirely from school surplus and the essential support of benefactors.
To realise our ambitious plans for the future, we will depend on the generosity of parents, alumni and friends of the school – your support is fundamental to all we are trying to achieve.
